I grew up on horror and appreciate all its genres, with a particular penchant for monsters, psychotics and children who kill, a good dose of humor and a splash of gore. The vast majority of my exposure to film continues to come, as always, from outside the theater, via TV, DVD and streaming. So, I won’t be reviewing the latest productions in theaters, but if you’d like ideas for hosting scares at home and are open to classic, low-budget, independent, cult or foreign releases or have interest in horror merchandising, pop culture and craftmanship, you might find something you like on Hankerin’ For Horror.
